According to several different cast members we spoke to just yesterday, the new Monsters Inc attraction for Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom isn't even going to be the ride-thru version that DCA currently has. ORWEN: Instead it's going to be a sit down show--like Turtle Talk--where guests just listen to Mike and Skully or whoever else they decide to have 'entertain' us--while the guests have the chance to talk back. ORGOCH: First it was way too many spinner rides. Now the best they can come up with is a bunch a new 'talk back ta the movie screen' things. ORDDU: If you ask us, there really isn't that much of a repeatability factor to such an attraction. Once you've done it, there's not much of a desire to go back for more. ORWEN: Not to mention that such an attraction has no business in Tomorrowland to begin with. If anything, it would fit better at Disney M-G-M. ORGOCH: If'n I ever sees them Al Weiss er Jay Rasulo goomers, I's gonna take my broom stick an' shove up both their dang-- ORDDU: --Sister!! This is a family web-footed site, don't forget!

There isn't the space in that building for another ride.

It will be interesting to see how the show works because I find Turtle Talk works so effectively because of the intimacy of the theater. Kids can get up close and personal with Crush and Dory. I love Turtle Talk so I'm happy to see the technology being rolled out to Stitch Encounter at HKDL and the Laugh Floor Comedy Club at MK. At least the space will become more popular and hopefully help absorb more people at MK.

Then, find a way to make the CircleVision into 3D.

But there is a huge parking lot behind that area, and if they wanted to spend the money, they could expand. Heck! They could even build one of those Main Street arcades like the ones from DLP is they wanted to!!

The parking lot behind the Tomorrowland Terrace/Timekeeper/Buzz building cannot be build on as: 1) It isn't actually that big; 2) Is a cast drop-off location; and 3) Is the service entrance for the stores on that side of Main Street. IF (and it is a big IF) the Incredibles attraction gets built it is to be located between Space Mountain and the Galaxy Palace Theater. It won't have any impact on the cast areas mentioned.

Otherwise, I would not have offered an opinion on that. Most recently, I had the pleasure of seeing the parking lot again over Spring break when they had to deviate guest traffic off Main Street and thru the back side of Main Street. I do however realize this is a very busy work area for many CMs and service, but the fact remains.. there IS space back there to expand.. IF and only IF they wanted to. Just like the did to the MGM CMs when they built Fantasmic. ...and look at the mess they have created for guests who can't park close to the front anymore..
