Could be just because SoCal. AP's are blocked now though.

A lot of the current attendance is from the "locals" due to the economy......

So you had Premium AP's, many of which are trying to avoid the crowds (which they expected) and the Out of Town guests on the "2 days Free" offer, plus those who opted to pay full price to get in.....

It was kind of neat to see it and we exited out by the fire station at the start of Main Street.

This too might be a perception issue. I figured it was going to be busy, but my DD and I had a total blast!! We managed to ride almost everything she loves multiple time (the biggest ride she can ride is the Matterhorn). We did all of fantasyland at least twice (a couple of rides three times). The tiki room three times, four times on pirates, four times on the HM, five times on winnie the pooh, three times on the jungle cruise, twice on the astro blasters, rockets, and the subs. Included with this was a Breakfast with Minnie at The Plaza, a sit down lunch at Cafe orleans, and leaving after the fireworks.

You know what? I would do it again! It is nice when the park is not crowded in the early spring. But I would go (and will be going again) during the summer. And I am going to be there for the new year as well, so maybe I am just a glutton for punishment...lol.
