However, as an Inno CM, I hate having to talk over the music when I'm on the microphone... No wonder guests keep forgetting the exits are upstairs -- they can't hear a word I'm telling them when I say where the exits are.

People would hear the music and look around, expecting something to happen, and it never did. Very bad show. >i love hearing the music from the rocketeer.< Agreed - a terrific piece of music. They also have used this in the past at Epcot's fountain, which performs a much better show than DL's TL thing could ever hope to do.

Like it or not todays generation of children will not look back on Diney with the effection of great films pass the test of time, but rather that of Pixar.

One of the places I worked in DTD had as many as 6 different sound systems playing simultaneously from different stores and attractions, and I was supposed to converse with guests through the midst of all that?

Whose to say Pixar films can't be classics one day, most are just as beloved as any Disney film.

Now come Pixar, and though their movies have humor aimed at reaching children they are also smart enough for parents, and the plot line have something deeper that make them enjoyable evan after many viewings. Scenes like Jessie's flashback with the girl that forgot about her from Toy Story 2, still get me to this day, and the issues of being replaced getting older and value are morales that kids can pick up on something you don't see so much these day with alot of animation. <What if Pixar movies pass the test of time and in twenty years are looked at as fondly as other Disney movies? And please note, in the original post I was stating that Pixar film are classics but that current Disney films are lacking...

And if you think about it all movies are derived from a few basic concepts, so it's not surprising to see similarities of Hamlet in The Lion King.

But it's all semantics really, it's what you do with those elements that make them great. I just thought the film had more fluff than stuff to it, it's o.k. as a film but nothing compared to films like aladdin, or beauty which are timeless in their telling and a jor to watch over and over.
