Yes, I am still teaching. I moved from public school to a small private school. I'll still be teaching 5th grade, but it's a Lutheran school and I don't know anything about being Lutheran (I'm Catholic!). However, my principal said they will help me out with that when I have to teach religion, so it's all good.

All of the non-certified teachers got laid off at my old school, and there are simply no teaching jobs out there; I sent out 40 resumes and heard back from four schools. I have one class left, which I'm going to finish in the fall.

I think this new school is going to be a good fit, though. I really like the staff so far, and we actually get a couple of extra holidays. I'm looking forward to getting started in a couple of weeks.

Lutherans are Catholics that can't afford to hire a Pope.

MPierce, you can sit outside at Rose & Crown and listen to them, of course they are better if you watch them. But that way you can hear them and sit and enjoy your drink.

I've actually done that before. I would sit on the little bench just to the left of where they pull the tap. It's also a good location as the restroom is right across the street.
