I just need more fun hobbies or something. I am moving next year to the Seattle area and I will have to do this all over again, but luckily I am moving near my fiance's sister and I think having a girl around to talk to and hang out with will help.

I would love to meet in Yellowstone, but I really can't afford that right now...maybe later though.

If you attend church, I'd also suggest you make an appointment with a pastor.

I don't want to be rude, but based on what you've shared, you have a lot of stuff to talk out, and get to the root of. I also can't strongly enough recommend you get premarital counseling (your church should offer this). Either way, I hope you *seriously* consider why you're planning to marry someone you can't even talk to about your feelings.

I wish you lots of luck!

That said, and I'm glad you are seeing a doctor soon, Disneyland and Mickey Mouse are probably not the cure for your depression. You can listen to Disney music all day long, or even go to DL, but if you are truely, clinically depressed, it will only be a temporary fix.
Please find someone to talk to as LULu suggested, and make sure your doctor puts you on the appropriate meds.

I can't tell you what a difference it's made for my mom. A few years ago she said she had no joy in her life and nothing made her happy, then she started on anti-depressents, and she is SO much better.

This is really good advice! You'd be suprised how good just putting on your favorite Mickey Mouse shirt on will make you feel! Especially if you have any souvenir shirts from the parks - I always wear mine when I'm really feeling down or missing DL!
