In a hurry the take-away "Express" part of it can be pricey but decent, but the actual formal restaurant is a joke. Ridiculous prices for really mediocre food and atmosphere that is so outdated and garish it's not funny. Earl of Sandwich, btw, is right near it and has yummy sandwiches for a quick bite. DtD really isn't much for fine dining, but there's some decent casual spots. Bongos is probably the nicest place there - and has really good food. You just have to have some inkling of what Cuban food is.. which many people don't. There's also House of Blues and Rainforest which you should be familiar with. Similarly there's T-rex which is like Rainforest but with Dinosaurs. Eww - avoid Portabello or whatever it is called these days. Horrid horrid food there. Got tea there once that intentionally tasted like pinesol - yuck. Nothing was good. Some folks like that boat place.. Fultons. Never done it, probably ought to. What else..? There's the little crab shack thingy down by the marina, i can't remember its name. Food and service there have been good, but i'm not a big sea food fan. Did we forget anything?

I was really disappointed on my first visit to find out that they'd changed their name and no longer offered the oysters. But I did have a very nice meal there. Fulton's, on the other hand, offered oysters from a variety of fishing locations, and the Nova Scotia oysters were smallish but very tasty! And yes, Fulton's does provide a terrific meal, but it's pricey.
