My pre-school-age nephew (and his parents) are visiting SoCal this week, and what he really wants, more than going to Disneyland or anything, is a pony ride.

So, anybody have any suggestions for places for a 4-year-old boy to ride a pony in or around Anaheim? I've been Googling and found Lakewood Pony Rides and Petting Zoo, but there isn't much info about it on the web.

I've never been to the Santa Ana Zoo, but its children's zoo sounds like it could appease the kid. No ponies, but lots of other animals to pet and a train ride.

Anybody been to either of these?

Alex, are you willing to go to San Juan Capistrano? This looks like heaven for your nephew! Including pony rides!
