I had never heard of it befor. She made a batch in her kitchen years ago and I have made it quite a bit since then, but for whatever reason had forgotten about it up the other day again. I made a batch for my DS and he loved it. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever heard of it and has ever made it befor?
When I make it I always spread peanut butter on it and then roll it up and slice it into rounds.
To me, it's tastes like an Abazaba candy bar, only with a soft consistancy.

    Here are the ingredients.
    1/4 peeled and boiled potato
1 16oz box of Confectioners sugar.

Mash the potato up and pour in the poswdered sugar and roll in to a ball.
Toss some powdered sugar onto the counter or rolling board and roll out into a rectangle of desired legnth, width and thickness.
Spread with peanut butter of yoru choice. Roll into log shape and slice into rounds. Cover remaining poato candy securely, so it's airtight and keep in the frige. ( it dries out if you leave it out)

Has anyone ever heard of this?

Try that recipe withthe peanut butter spread onit. It's neat, but it lacks the chewy snappy goodness of the true AbbaZabba. lol

We even have the mini AbbaZabbas. Those are super cute. I sent some to my Dad in Florida. He said they don't get them out there either.

I'm not sure, that would be interesting to know.
I just cut one whole potato into 1/4 and use one section of it. you'd be surprized how far that one little piece goes.
