This year the same stay was less and I was prepared to pay that. Will the prices drop at all? I thought it might be less since the 5oth was over.

We want to book a whole package as one. How long should we wait? Disney charges $25 every time you make a change. What about mouseears? Does anyone have any insight. I am overly excited to book my trip so that I know it is a go and I can really start counting down.

Then keeping checking the Disney Hotel rates (Mousesavers.com is a good source of discount offers), if they drop to a level you are willing to pay, cancel the off-property, and switch. If not, you have a booked hotel, and can carry on with other details, such as arranging vacation, booking flights, etc....

I think they can even get your tickets for you, just none of the extra [costly and unnecessary, in my opinion) frills such as lanyards and priority seats at shows. And do verify, but I'm pretty sure there's no charge for cancellation at least 72 hours prior to the stay.
