Cute plush, various small plastic toys, t-shirts, and the very creative recipe box.

The party store also had paper plates, tablecloths, napkins, stickers, etc.

Did I mention how cute Remy is?

I DID buy the Pez set, which I have only seen at Wal-Mart.

I also saw jigsaw puzzles in a wine glass, Ratatatatatatatatatouille balancing on a can of tomatoes, the giant rat plushes and it looks like activity pads of some sort.

They had lots of stuff at the Disney Store I visited during lunch. They had two sizes of plush for Remy and Emile, and I saw a giant-sized Emile as well. Still too rat-like for me, but I think anyone who actually likes rats will like them. They also had plush of Remy's dad, Skinner, Gasteau and Ego. I *had* to get the plush for Ego. They had bigger plush of Linguini and Collette.

The PVCs didn't do anything for me. They had other manner of random toys as well. They had a plastic spaghetti sticky thing that I thought was pretty disgusting. And they had costumes of Remy and Emile for kids. Oh, and they had t-shirts for kids.

My favorite stuff was the kitchen items, though. I managed to let myself only buy the set of four different coasters. They also have a set of four cheese plates. I'm going to wait, and when the stuff goes on sale and if they have any left, they're mine. I guess I should be thankful they don't have more plates in the line, because I'd totally want those. They had linen-type napkins in the same set, but I don't think I'll get those. I liked the various cooking sets, and I liked the apron with mouse oven mitt as well as the apron with chef's hat. I like the apron that goes with the chef's hat better because it says "little chef". :)

They also had a plastic picnic set. If that's still there when stuff goes on sale, I'll have to think about it, even though I really have no use for it, but it's so cute!

And yes, I've found that my interest in the merchandise is a good indication of how much I like the film. I think this will be a film that I'll like the more I see it. I keep thinking about different scenes and different lines. I don't think it will ever rise to the level of "Monsters, Inc." for me, but it might end up being my second favorite Pixar film.

I loved the plush! I thought the giant ones were a beanbag chair maybe? I didn't look too closely.

All the MTR merchandise was on clearance at our local Disney store.

TRU did have a lot of Sally cars in stock though. If there are no action figures or Happy Meal toys of them, I'll probably end up buying the Skinner plush.

Apparently we got another Disneyized version of a classic game; whereas Dead Man's Chest offered Liar's, er, Pirate's Dice, Ratatouille has the Kitchen Quake Game, which y'all might know better as Mouse Trap.

There are action figures, but it doesn't appear to be the entire cast yet, at least not individually.

Why do I have this feeling that Skinner will soften up at the end of the film, a la Nathan Lane in "Mouse Hunt" or Amos Slade in "The Fox and the Hound"?

I love how the carboard backing for all the figures look like they've been chewed on by rats. It's pretty convincing.

I think this kitchen stuff is inspired.

I also saw the sewer playset, the PVC gift set with the main characters, a talking Remy (squeeze his nose) and a remote-control Remy, which I'm sure parent would just LOVE.

I guess I'll probably go for the beanie plush of Skinner at the Disney Store.
