The Anatole books would make for a cool Pixar movie, but maybe it was a matter of obtaining rights to the character.

I cannot post a link; don't have one. But I did see a teaser trailer for Ratatouille at Pixar last night, before seeing "Cars" as part of a charity event we attended.

I'm definitely interested in seeing this film now. Cute teaser. Ratatouille was describing (and demonstrating) his 'difficulties' of being a rat with strong desires for gourmet cuisine, compared to his rat friends and family members, who'd rather eat like, well, rats.

I like the look of Ratatouille and his fellow rodents. Just enough cuteness factor to keep them from being disgusting, without making them too cartoonish.

The above link is to aintitcoolnews. There's a description of the trailer there. Haven't come across any images yet. I am glad to hear Brad Bird is now on board to direct. He has such a great way with story. Can you imagine if The Iron Giant was a Pixar film? That would be amazing. It's amazing as is and even more charming as a traditionally drawn animated feature. But just think what a difference the Pixar/Disney marketing machine could have made with this under-seen film. It should have been a monster hit for Warner Bros.
