Refurb Fences

    I was at Disneyland tonight and noticed a refurb fence in the oddest place. There was a refurb fence just west of the castle between the concession carts infront of the castle and the water gardens of the Little Mermaid. I dont seem to recollect. The refurb fence blocks the route of the parade.

    I have two questions???

    Does any one know what the refurb fence is up for? Are they working on the concrete or the curb?

    And does this mean the parade is on hiatus until the passageway is opened?

    They are working on pavement issues, and drilling holes for poles for the "circular flow" guest control pattern they created this summer to deal with the crowds in front of the Castle during fireworks.

    And yes, there is no parade for a couple weeks due to this construction. They are also repaving large sections of Backstage near and where the floats are stored and travel along before and after the parade. It's important infrastructure work that has to get done after years of postponing it under Pressler and Harriss (According to friends in Entertainment Tech Services).

    I was hoping they'd be fixing the sewer lines under Churros #1 (Castle Forecourt) and through that area, but they're not. It's brick work and poles.
