Originally Posted By MerryMouseWife As far as I can remember, the hours shorten right after Labor Day holiday. The Mansion overlay takes about 4 weeks, and reopens at the end of the month, so figure 4 weeks before the last weekend of September or the first weekend of October.

Originally Posted By Darkbeer Actually, more and more schools start in late August, so Disney will start to cut back hours and entertainment offerings more than likely on August 24th. The week of August 31st will have shorter weekday hours than the 24th, but still a bit longer than the typical off-season weekday hours. Then the 10 to 8 hours will start on September 8th, this is also the date that the Haunted Mansion will mosre than likely close, and maybe some other attractions for refurb. Halloween Time should start on Friday, September 25th, and when Haunted Mansion Holiday will open. FYI, this info is based on past history, as Disney has not yet made final decisions for the time frame yet.
