You know, I didn't know that Smigel was still doing the cartoons for SNL; The Ambiguously Gay Duo and Fun with RealAudio were always funny.

This isn't the first time he's satirized Disney; other Smigel/Disney cartoons were "Walt Disney's Titey", based on the Titanic. It had the actual voices of Jason Alexander (Titey), Molly Ringwald (Anne Frank), Gilbert Gottfried (Napoleon) and Whoopi Goldberg (The Iceberg).

Another one I remember was a talk show that had Geppetto as the host. He was "interviewing" Sharon Stone, and apparently her Basic Instinct actions were similar to, um, Pinocchio telling a lie. ;)

Mickey took the boy and the girl for a walk through "The Disney Vaults" .... discovering things like a video of Song of the South, and played a snippet. But with a little voice-over to change what Uncle Remus said. (Not exactly flattering).

I think the funniest thing was taking a pot shot at Disney for all their direct-to-video Cheapquels.

They were great. I also liked Jim Henson tied up in the corner.

The cartoon was clearly satirical and highly exaggerated. If your posts aren't being taken in the same light, than I suspect they are generally being read as serious.

I dunno. Have you considered adding a laugh track following your comments?
