So what's going on with this proposal?

Is it still going to happen? Or is it on thin ice?

There were some recent rumors proving it was cancelled, but some say - It's still on.

But where is the project now?

Which he only brought up after a stockholder question. He completely ignored it during the P&R part of the presentation.

And even then, the date is laughable. The way Disney does construction, they would have had to already start to have it open by 2015.

I never even saw the movie. It absolutely does not interest me and it should! On the face of it, it seems like it's right up my alley. It's science fiction, it looks as though it's nice "eye candy" in HD, but I have no interest whatsoever in watching this thing. I even started to once and turned it off about 2 minutes in.

I know, I know. I SHOULD like it, it's right up my alley, but for some reason I just have this overwhelming urge to avoid it like the plague. I don't know why.

For some reason i dont mind LOTR, i ended up liking all of them and will probably see the Hobbit.

I hope Disney is really going to come up with something better than Avatarland. Then again Dak needs something more, so anything would be better than what is there now.

This. I swear, every time one of the films is on television I can't figure out which one is which. They all look the same to me.

At the end, did the woman purposely kill them so that they could be together again with the mom/wife?

    SPOILER ALERT

I didn't think so. She was repeating "never forgive never forgive" which made me think she remained evil/crazy ghost, in spite of being "reunited" with her dead son. And then she flashed a look at the audience in the last moment of the film, suggesting she was looking for the next victim. (A classic horror movie "The End... or is it?" finish.)
