Chernobog!!!!!

I agree, all these parades need to be retired and it's time for Disney entertainment to come up with the next generation of nighttime parade entertainment. They've been stuck on the "same old thing" for decades now! Surely they can come up with something more!!

To get a good view, people start lining the streets an hour before the parade. The parades may be dated BUT....big crowds on hand everytime.

On the other hand...TDL has had 2 new electrical parades since SpectroMagic premiered and those parades have improved the lighting technology by leaps and bounds over Spectro's outdated system. The only reason why guests line up still is because there is nothing else to do at night and they do not know any better in regards to what the other DL resorts are doing, for the most part. >>WDW is lucky to have such a gorgeous nighttime parade. Even if they had kept "Light Magic" and tinkered with it, you are still better off than having SpectroMagic. But that's only my opinion on this.

Originally Posted By Jim_n_Ruth The only reason why guests line up still is because there is nothing else to do at night You've got to be kidding me. Nothing else to do at night? At WDW? You can't be serious. and they do not know any better in regards to what the other DL resorts are doing, for the most part. Maybe so, but so what? From the looks on their faces, including mine, all of us are having a simply marvelous time.

There was a time when Disney theme parks really DID please the masses--instead of all this hit or miss stuff they've got going, now. TDLFAN is right. There are becoming fewer options for guests--and witches--to enjoy. With the obvious technology available, why would anyone want to close their eyes to it and not grab onto it to help insure a more prosperous future for Disney theme parks? For the most part, they're only looking to the short term goals--what's 'good enough' and hoping for the best. Walt Disney didn't work that way and his fans have a right to howl like banshees when they see all this backsliding taking place.
