The other parks are not spread out over 40 square miles as is WDW. That said, those far smaller parks have to put on the best shows they possibly can to stay afloat. Again, if what is being said is true, and those "higher end" optics were used, and all the other things that are, in one persons opinion, so superior to WDW, were used at WDW, no one but the rich could afford to go to WDW. Those across the board upgrades have to be paid for.
