I really liked the dynamics last season of the loved ones.
Whenever they start with three tribes, it seems to be a 'gimmick' that lasts only a few weeks. Interested to see how long it plays out this season.

Not sure I'm pretty or smart enough to fit into either of the other two. I may be a little cute and clever at times, but we'll have to see how beautiful and brainy the cast is...

    You?

Just going to show, sometimes when you're book smart you may lack common sense and/or social skills. That tribe is a mess.

I wonder how long it will be before they switch the tribes up. When Brandon dumped the rice in a previous season, they miraculously had the merge right after that (with new rice), but I don't see that happening so soon. Now that Garrett's gone and the rice was dumped, I really have to question his decision to take the idol instead of more rice! : )

Since J'Tia survived the vote, I wonder how much she's regretting that action since it will now impact her. We'll have to see on Wednesday.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out (and as much as I like watching people be miserable, the rainy seasons are always tough to watch)

It seems like Kass could be a really strong competitor if she makes it far enough

The voting at Tribal seemed overly complicated, but I guess that's just how it goes. While I don't think he was going to win, I'm sad to see Brice go, because he made for some entertaining television! I don't really have any strong feelings about anybody else in that tribe

And the cop guy from the brawn tribe is just getting really annoying. The preview showed something about that tribe throwing a challenge, so I hope it's to eliminate him

If they pretty people tribe hadn't fallen apart at the end, brains would have spent another evening with Jeff. That maze puzzle was pretty cool. I like when there are new challenges we haven't seen before.

It just gets me how these people just don't seem to know how to play the game. Most of them seem fairly clueless out there. Interesting casting.

This week's blindfold challenge seems like it's going to take a toll on the players...they showed some pretty brutal shots in the preview. I must have missed the part about a potential challenge-throwing by the brawn tribe. I think I was distracted by those poor players that may never have kids.

It should be another good episode tomorrow.

It was interesting that they showed the Brain tribe practicing for the challenges last week and this week. I don't think I've ever seen it before, but it obviously seems like a good idea. Do other tribes usually do this and it doesn't make it through the editing, or were they really doing something new?

I thought it was funny that the Brawn tribe tried to throw the challenge and couldn't do it. I guess it would have been a lot easier if someone else was shooting at the end, but it was a valiant effort. I still hope that Tony gets out soon, since I really don't like him

I'm excited for the tribe mix up that's happening next week (I assume it's not the full merge yet). It will be neat to see how the different 'stereotypes' interact and how it impacts the different alliances

The practicing that the Brain tribe was doing for challenges...the only time I recall seeing that is when they've received some sort of prop in tree mail to practice with. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to be help them. They got lucky with that water challenge last week, in that the Beauty tribe fell apart at the end. Prior to that, Brains was out of it.

Never throw a challenge unless you have buy in from everyone except the intended target. It seemed clear that Woo was not going along with their plan, so they came off looking pretty foolish. I'm not sure if Cliff suspected what was happening or not, but I was surprised that he missed a couple of shots when one of the other guys (Jeremiah?) sunk them all.

I like Spencer and think he got a pretty bad draw with the Brain tribe. It'll be interesting to see how the groups are split next week. I imagine it's going to be one of those 'choose an egg from the bag, then smash it to see which of the two tribes you're on' sort of things. It will be interesting to see if it gives some of the current bottom-dwellers renewed life in the game. Alliances are sure to be split up.

I really like them, and it seems like they have a decent team now, so hopefully they'll be able to turn things around

I also can't believe that Jeremiah didn't play the idol. Granted, it may have been edited to make it more dramatic, but I didn't get the impression that Tony was going to flip, based on his only comment during tribal. I still think Tony is a huge skeezeball, but I'm glad he made a dramatic play (also, Woo's face was priceless when the last vote was revealed!)

The former Brains tribe members definitely are in the power position here and it's great to see given the struggles and losses they went through in the previous weeks. Loved that 'crap for brains' comment by Kass.

Sad to see Cliff go. I know he'll be a physical threat when it gets to individual immunity challenges, but seems a little short-sighted to oust him now when there are still plenty of tribe challenges to play. I didn't want to see LJ leave yet either, as I think he's playing a good game and am looking for him to go far. I was also surprised he didn't play the idol, since we didn't really see him having a one on one with Tony. Was that edited out, or does LJ really have that much faith in Trish's word that Tony was with them?

Next week's showdown between Trish and Lindsey must get fairly intense for Jeff to make a visit to camp. It'll be interesting to see that shake out. Jeff generally only visits in the case of injury or someone asking to quit the game.

Lindsey really just blew up on her own, which Trish then played into (at least from how it was edited). I'm already looking forward to the post-season show to see what her thoughts are

I think the other tribe was right in voting Alexis off. She isn't particularly good at challenges, and she seemed to be doing a lot of meddling in their plans without having a whole lot of vision. I liked Spencer's comment about how he liked girls that didn't try to hide their intelligence, and I completely agree

I'm also curious about what will happen with Sarah. She's a strong competitor, and seems like she's in a good position to get herself far in the game, but she's sort of on the outside at the moment

I was surprised that Jeff didn't have more to say about it, as in the past he's shown a strong dislike for quitters and called them out. Perhaps there was more evidence to the potential flip out scenario that was edited out of what we were shown.

Good points about Alexis, Ferret. The other reason to oust her is that she showed and verbalized her pleasure that the other two former Beauty tribe members were still in the game at that first post-tribal council challenge. It was a big sign to her team that she would flip in a heartbeat at the merge.

I suspect Tony is not long for this game. He thinks he's playing it smart, but too many see right through him. Loved LJ's comment after Tony confessed his real profession...so you're being honest with us about the fact you lied before so that we will trust you? Okay...

Sarah would be smart to remember Tony's 'top five' chant after the immunity challenge. She may be better off sticking with the brains and pulling in a couple others for the numbers.

    Anything can happen post-merge, though.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Kass now, since I was thinking she had a good chance of winning. I suspect she might turn back, but that would only further alienate some potential jury votes. She seems like she'd be good in the final tribal (being a lawyer and all), but it could be a struggle for her to even get there

And what do you think the "other" hidden idols do? My guess is that the owner gets an extra vote at tribal, but it could be almost anything. And is there now just one hidden immunity idol out there, since it's just one tribe, or would there be two of them to replace the two that were played?
