Otherwise, they have adorable Christmas ornaments in the New Orleans holiday shop. One of my favorite stops!

Also got a 50th Mickey pin for 3 yr old son's preschool teacher- $8.

I have seen them both wear pins before so I figured it was appropriate.
I didn't want to worry about a mug breaking and a pin doesn't take up much room in the suitcase!

This trip I am going to get all of teachers a present. My daughter's teacher has a very dry sense of humor so maybe something villiany would be good for him. My sons teacher is the cutest and sweetest thing ever so something Princessy might work for her like a cute pen and papaer set or stationary. My middle daughter's teacher is brand new and I don't have a good feel for her personality yet but maybe by December I will.

    Thanks for the ideas. :-D

I LOVE the idea of the autographed photo to the teacher/class because it's so personal and it's for the whole class. I'm calling VP today. I will get them each something else too - either pins, pens, notepads, ornament - i'll try to have the kids pick out something themselves

I got both of them in the Emporium on Main St. They were against the wall near the scrapbooking stuff, right as you walk in the 2nd entrance on Main St. One of them is a Minnie Mouse pad, she's watering her flowers and the other was a Tinkerbell one. Both were super cute, teachers both loved them and they were $6.00 each!

PS......my SIL is a teacher and while we were on the trip I was asking her what should I bring back for the teachers? She suggested a new pad of paper!

    * Just enjoy your vacation; I'd rather you not waste time & money getting me "souvenirs" from a trip I didn't take.

    * If you still feel really strongly about wasting time & money, then please go with consumables. The pad of paper, for instance--or maybe a box of crackers to share with the class.

    * But mostly, just enjoy your trip.

For my son's pre-school class (9 kids) I brought back 2 bunches of those Mickey shaped lollipops. They are about $3.50 for a pack of 5. The kids loved them!!!

While I don't spend my whole tripping worrying about what to get, I think it is thoughtful to bring things back. I know I love it when someone brings back something for me or my family!

We got some of them pens and others we got a little tin ( Altoid shaped)of character shaped mints. I think that was $2.50.

When they were in Preschool we got a little container of chocolates ( coin shaped) that were individually wrapped with pictures of characters for them to give to their classmates.

Other years I brought back candy for all to share or Mickey pretzles for snack time. For co- workers I found small tins of hard candies with a character on the lid (these I found at Character Warehouse buy 2 get 3 free).

One year I picked up keychains, another a Pooh pin with teacher's first name on it.

For a class gift that is cheap.. stickers, stampers, punches from scrapbooking selection.

I like the tiny decks of cards. Very cute!

If you're going to Character Warehouse anyway.. check to see what note pads and other small gift items that would be suitable at much lower cost.
