Trattoria Changes

So what's going on with this facility? When it reopens, what will all the components be?

Here is what I think I've figured out.

Trattoria reopens with better seating and new menu.

Old Vineyard Room opens as a new wine bar.

Wine tasting continue on the wing closest to the Mermaid ride.

Boxed lunches on the "Sonoma Terrace" (former small wine bar near the Cellar)


This sound correct?

Almost right. The "Sonoma Terrace" is on the east, closest to the Little Mermaid side. That's where the picnic meals will be picked up. The patio will include a dining area. The other side is for wine tasting.

Hmmm... I was hoping that the upstairs would return to the original format of high-end full service meals. The best food I ever had at any theme park was at that location when it was operated by Mondavi.

When Mondavi operated the venue the vines were tiny and most likely didn't produce any grapes. I remember visiting the park right after it opened thinking that it was a clever detail. I don't know much about wine making, but I doubt if Mondavi was still operating the place when the vines became mature enough to produce any fruit worth using.

Why on earth would they take that out? There is already a lack of fine dining in the parks. I wanted to try it so badly then learned it was taken away

And dlandoug- I was only told they used once for like tasting them, I never was told that they were just for show—well they are now for show duh, but like I said I was told that so who knows what that person was thinking. so don’t hold my comment against me!
