It's one of the least crowded times, and you get to enjoy holiday decorations on top of the already beautiful parks. If you decide to still go in June, I would recommend you get to the parks early. Then take a long midday break... go back to the hotel and take a nap, lounge at the pool, etc. At a minimum, have a nice long lunch in an indoor, air-conditioned restaurant. Then go back to your touring after the hottest part of the day is past.

I think it's once you get to the middle of the month when everything picks up in pace. I was there in August, and the heat and humidity was awful. But if early June is the only time you can go, then go and have fun!

But I remember it being so bad you really couldnt move, just walking around. But now I re-think that, it was more towards the end of june, so maybe this will be a big difference. The heat is not as bad as July-Aug and rain also seems to be less . We stay 10 days at WDW- then off to Vero Beach for 5 or so...the weather usually pretty good. Now it can be 90....so depending on what you're used to you have to be prepared... Use EMH's during your stay there and if you are there for either of the first two weekends with June dates -- 2,3,4 or 9,10,11 - remember Star Wars Weekends are there as well as the Flower & Garden Show in EPCOT with the Flower Power concerts of 60's groups -- a great time to be there.

We would love to go during the off season, but with kids in school we are forced to go in late May early June. We plan to be in parks during gay week. I check their website and plan around the schedule they have posted. So many families will not go during gay week ,the parks don't really seem that crowded. Some people may not agree, but we have never been during the off season so we don't know what to compare too. Let's wait to hear from someone who has more experience than me - only three trips.

(Great Motivation) Now my cousins are teachers so if we really want to go with the whole family we have to make some comprimises on when we can go. Last year that meant august but that wont happen again (I thought I was melting) It was HOT I dont know if I could ever be FLFIREGUY
