Upgrade question

    OK, I'm sure I know the answer to this, but figured I'd ask anyway.

    If I buy the 3 day park hopper for $169 (special internet price), can I upgrade to the SoCal pass on the 3rd day (since all 3 days are blacked out), which is also $169?

    This is a long shot that I actually do this, but I'm looking at all my options.

    (And, buying a kids 3 day PH would be upgradeable to the $169 so cal AP, right?)

    Yes, you certainly can do that. But the pass would be backdated to expire one year from the day it was first used. Some CM's forget to backdate, but usually they do not forget. You can upgrade on the 3rd day and once you've received your blockout dates you will not be allowed to use the passport on further blobkout dates. Have fun!

    I was just able to do this last weekend when I bought my AP on my second day at the park.
