We will be celebrating our 20th when we go in August and just want something simple with our girls and special at the same time. Any info will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

It appears as though for vow renewals you have a choice of locations, indoors or outdoors on deck 7. The basic package costs $1900 and there is a list of prices for add ons such as photographer, flowers, cakes, etc...I'd love to hear if anyone has first hand experience as I am also considering this for an upcoming cruise.

Nothing we want to do as we've never been there and want to go see the sights. They seem to have very few options for the renewal packages. Thank you for post...I appreciate the input!! :)

Shoot _dad, I'd think you'd renew your vows just for a ride on *that!*

    Or something like that.

Yes indeed, it's hard to believe that being married to my high school sweetheart, and having 6 children, I would not understand why people would renew their vows...

That's almost as unbelievable as you offering adivice on said subject.

    Ka-chow! ;)

Since they were orignially married on New Year's Eve, they were used to having parties on their anniversary anyway. And this time their kids paid for the party. It was really lovely and it meant a great deal to all of us.

I think it is a lovely gesture to reaffirm your vows periodically. 25 years is a nice benchmark.

But I have the same view as your parents did and still do. I simply want to do this because in this day in age where everything seems to be a "who cares attitude" I think it means something to truely be in love and want to celebrate it with your kids. Mabye that makes me naive or old fashioned....who knows. But I do appreicate the advice when I ask a question!

He is a good honest man, and just genuinely wanted input on why some people do this. :)

Not at all, I think that makes you a good-hearted person.
