Including being able to rent a ride at some parks for around $6500 ( i.e. after 9 pm Great Movie Ride) etc. My question is this, has anyone held or attended a wedding there ? If so what did you like, not like. What worked- what was an issue ? all input welcome...they will have a large party for friends upon their return - the destination group will be about 35 in number - so not too large. I know so far they like the Gazebo in Yacht/Beach club for ceremony itself.

I think that the Gazebo looks really nice, I have seen pictures of weddings there. I think you need to be prepared for very different weather though in Florida - temps and precipitation and wind. Might be perfect, but might not. I don't know if renting out a ride would be the best use of money unless the couple and lots of the people there really have a special attachment to one. Just my two cents. Hopefully you'll get thoughts from knowledgeable people.

We even had a special guest visit, Jack Sparrow. It was a relatively small group, I'd guess about 35 people. It went like clockwork. While we were not allowed to randomly wander the park, being there after hours was quite and experience, even the back stage area was amazing.

Disney wedding are overrated and too expensive. Besdie if you honumoon in Oahu. Where this is located. not a lot of effort just getting the wedding party to get there. Because if your spending money for what WDW will charge you will have a better wedding in Oahu than at some overpriced theme park that is past it's prime.
