    Here's my weekend line-up:

Sat - nail appt at 10:00
Sat - grocery shop, cook & clean all day
Sat - girls' party our house at 6:30 (while husbands play poker in the garage, and children tear up my kids' rooms)
Sun - Easter baskets for kids, egg hunt, church, brunch at our house
Sun - collapse at bedtime, contemplate calling in sick Monday morning *lol*

Why do I have so much planned all the time lately? In the past six weeks we have done a vacation/cheer competition in San Diego, a vacation to New Orleans, my son went to a week-long camp in Cambria, I went on travel to Palm Springs for 4 days, we are hosting a party, we have Easter Sunday festivities, and then next weekend we are headed to Vegas.

Stop the world, I wanna get off.

I'm actually looking forward to summer when it's too hot to go anywhere and we just have to lie around like useless slugs all day, complaining how it's too hot to do anything. LOL

Okay, so how about the rest of you?!?

Tomorrow is Brendan's eights birthday. He's flying with Grandpa in the morning while I clean house and then party at the rec center pool.
Easter bunny visits by Sunday morning and then Easter day with the family. (Oh that reminds me, I have to make a potato salad at some point)

Joe, I never feel like I have *any* energy anymore! I just plug along and then collapse each night, LOL! I do enjoy it, though. My kids really do bring me so much happiness!

Sunday I'm working "onstage." I don't usually work Sundays, but this allows one of my co-workers to get to church. I've worked Easter Sunday before, and it can be really nice, with people seeming friendlier than usual.

Funny the old "gated" community my parents lived in had the same type of automated gates of a parking lot. It was also in a hellish part of town, nice short walk to the industrial part. My dad wanted to downsize and be close to the highway, odd how they moved back into his old neighbourhood and wrote that off as a bad investment, it "only" took half a year to sell, who cares if you lost money. Why do people not think decisions through properly and listen to their spouses and kids?

I'm winging it this weekend, just work, church and online while I cook, read and clean. My house needs some work. Also I might actually finish putting stuff into my living room, amazing how I live out of my 2 libraries (aka bedrooms), family room and kitchen heh. Soon i'll be in the basement more though. Maybe I'll finish the drywalling, maybe next weekend. How's that for indecisive?

Saturday morning -- make cream cheese frosting and frost carrot cake, go to church Easter Egg hunt at 10:30 (if it's not raining), lunch with DH's family, come home and cook potatoes to make potato salad. Make potato salad, spinach dip, pecan bars, and ham for Sunday. Cook, clean, cook, clean...
Plant herbs in the pots my two daughters painted at the local pottery place for my mom for Easter, have my daughters work on the stories they are writing and illustrating for the "Young Writers and Illustrators" contest through PBS, work with my older daughter on her lines for the musical she's in at school, put together kids Easter Baskets.
Sunday -- church, come home and get food, drive 1 hour to my Grandma's for Easter. Come home and get ready for the kids to go back on track Monday (They've been out of school for a month).

(I saw Mom a few weeks ago when she was in the area and stopped in the store)

--So I'll get home Sat. night, see the folks and play with muh big ol' fluffy collie pup Beau--Yay! (well he's 11 but sometimes thinks he's a big ol' puppy, lol)
--Sunday I dunno how it'll start out but I assume I'll go out to eat with Mom 'n Dad (don't know if we'll make it to church or not)
--Go visit my grandmother on my dad's side who lives just behind the forest (sounds like "TALL Disney Riding Hood", Lol)
--Later that day go visit my "2nd mother" if her schedule works out (this is one the mom of 1 of my best friends who I grew up with for 17 years---their relationship was SOOO much like "Mama 'n Eunice" when we were growin' up, lol! They're a lot "better" now though that they're not livin' in the same house anymore!)
--That night I'll drive back to my place where I'm expectin' a phone call from a "Mama" buddy o' mine to discuss upcomin' events, maybe talk to a couple o' LPers, maybe do a li'l housework (or a LOT, lol)

And then that'll be the end o' my 1 day off! lol (until some vacation time comin' up!)

I could be reading this wrong, but does this mean there's no Easter Monday public holiday in America or just that you work in a profession where you don't get the holidays off?

Anyway, I'm mainly scrapbooking, cleaning and eating chocolate ... not many plans, I'm trying to be as lazy as humanly possible and succeeding thus far!
