It was a visually stunning show. Great music and the acts were really cool..albeit a bit too heavy on aerial acrobatics.. but the production, set and overall feel and pace of the show were beyond my expectation. Bought the show's CD as well.. Very nice. Also much to my surprise.. this particular show (1pm saturday) was very well attended. I have heard of shows where there is only 200 guests in the 2,000 seats theater.. but in my estimation.. there were close to 1,200 guests in the audience.. more taken seats than empty. The applause was thundering throughout most of the show. So Cirque fans.. if you go to Tokyo, do see ZED. Highly recommended. Then some to WDW and *demand* the same quality.

I was somewhat bored with it and happy when it ended, and there are few CdS shows that I feel that way about. Obviously, ticket sales at WDW continue to justify keeping the show there, but I'll not be seeing it again. ZED is a completely different story, however. I've seen it 3 or 4 times now, which makes it more than any other CdS show (I've seen Alegria and O twice, and many of the others once), and I plan to see it again during my next TDR visit. Everything about it makes it one of the best CdS shows, at least in my opinion. It's a shame that it's not doing so well financially. They were really trying with various promotions and alterations to the show, and then the earthquake hit. I hope it sticks around for awhile, but in case it doesn't, I plan to get my fill of it by seeing it each time I'm at the resort until I get tired of it. And, consider this: when the CdS theater was first announced for TDR, they said that an entirely new production was being developed for it, without naming it. Then, at some point later, they said that instead they had decided to just bring La Nouba to TDR. I was very disappointed at this news. Then, at a still later date, they announced ZED. With each changing announcement, they not only didn't explain the change of plans, they didn't even acknowledge it. I'm glad it ended up as it did.
