Fortieth anniversary of my eleventh birthday in June. I'm getting my Hogwart's letter. ;-)

It's been ages since we've gone to Universal Studios. It'll be interesting to see what has changed. My husband saved up and booked us a room and tickets for two days, one of which has their front of line pass.

Does anyone know if the Potter stuff will be exempted from that? I heard that the first year it was open in Florida, front of line didn't apply.

It's not a big deal if it is, because we can use it for the other attractions.

Not only should FOL work for the "Potter" attractions, but there may be times during the day when the standby wait for "Forbidden Journey" is as low as 25 minutes. Maybe even less. If that's the case, you really need to go through the standby line at least once since it's like a whole attraction in itself.

We head to Hollywood in a week! Since we bought our park tickets online, we get an early entry each day. :) The tickets and hotel reservation are packed so we don't forget them and I'm making my list.

Wow! What an experience. We really didn't need the front of line pass, though we took advantage of it Saturday for "Forbidden Journey" and did the entire line Sunday though I took an early exit because it made me queasy. I really enjoyed "Flight of the Hippogriff", it's right up my alley as far as roller coasters go. The food at the Three Broomsticks was delicious. The theming is easily on a par with anything Disney has done. All interactions with the witches and wizards of Hogsmeade were excellent. They all seemed to have the same desire to make sure the guests had a good experience. If you are able, get an interactive wand and practice casting spells around the area.

I just have one wish. I wish the area were bigger. But I may have to brave a plane ride and the humidity and experience the Florida version of the Wizarding World some day.
