I'm glad I'm not the only one who sometimes (sometimes) likes to listen to non-Disney music while walking around the parks or riding rides. @magic0214 has written two articles highlighting some songs he thinks will go well with certain attractions: Hip-hop: http://www.laughingplace.com/w/blog...04/01/disney-ride-playlist-rbhip-hop-edition/ Country: http://www.laughingplace.com/w/blogs/marshal-knight/2016/05/03/disney-ride-playlist-country/ I think listening to different music on a ride or while on a stroll through the parks can completely change the emotion and experience. Heck, anyone remember when they did the Red Hot Chili Peppers overlays in Disneyland and DCA? So does anyone else enjoying providing their own soundtrack to the Disney Parks or is this sacrilege?
A buddy of mine often pulls up the old "perhaps ye knows too much..." narration for the now-Davey Jones cave on Pirates, since the new narration in that area is so dreadful, but I've never done it myself I've always wanted to try to do Space Mountain with the old Dick Dale soundtrack again, but with the Hyperspace Mountain overlay it seems like it will be a few years before I get the chance. From what I've heard, that's good enough that I wouldn't want to miss out on the newest soundtrack!
