How ironic is it that; just as I was about to give up on all things Disneyland.........Not only does LP come back with a bigger and better format; we get a call, totally out of the blue, from friends that we met at the RV park in Anaheim several years ago?!? They live in Arkansas but will be in SoCal and want us to join them for a Holiday Disneyland visit. We told them to consider it done so somewhere around 229 DAYS maybe.
29 days until Disneyland Anaheim. I'm already very excited, since it will be our first visit to the original Disneyland.
>>I'm already very excited, since it will be our first visit to the original Disneyland.<< That is definitely something to be excited about!!!
Yes, we have finally booked everything. We will fly to Las Vegas, stay there for two days and then we will drive via Lake Tahoe to San Francisco and from there to LA. In LA we will spend three days at DL and one day at Universal. We will also visit Hollywood, the beach where they filmed Baywatch, I know stupid show, but I liked it a lot as a kid, Downtown LA (Disney Concert Hall), and maybe Huntington Park and Glendale (WDI). And then via Palm Springs back to LV from where we will return to Europe.
Nice! If by "Huntington Park," you mean the Huntington Museum/Library/Gardens in San Marino (next to Pasadena), I believe that was my suggestion, and it's a lovely way to spend an afternoon - quite different from your other SoCal plans, too, so a nice "palate cleanser." Be sure to post a nice detailed trip report when you get home!
Yeah, cuz now there are people here to actually read it! My good friend told me yesterday that she wants us to be there for her birthday in September. So with that and the Dec trip we will probably get PAP's. Yikes! what a difference. Now it could be as soon as 133 DAYS.
We leave tomorrow. Not until after work though. We'll get to the DLR onSaturday, Tinker Bell on Sunday then the parks on Monday and Tuesday.
