Does anyone know if it is possible to power a portable oxygen generator on the Disney Cruise Ships? I know some regular 110/120 volt AC is available, but its use is restricted to items that don't draw a lot of amperage. I don't think my generator would be a problem... I can power it off the 12 V connection when I am in the car. I would just need to know before booking a cruise. Thanks.

I don't have any personal experience, but I did see this on the DCL site: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/guest-services/guests-with-disabilities/

    Request Special Services
If you or a member of your travel party has a disability or special medical needs, please complete and submit the Special Services Information Form at least 60 days prior to the start of your vacation.

This optional form allows you to:
    • Arrange for wheelchair access and/or ground transportation lift
    • Specify if a wheelchair-accessible stateroom is required
    • Reserve a communication kit for Guests with hearing disabilities
    • Request a sharps box for the disposal of needles, syringes and lancets
    • Indicate if you will be traveling with a service animal
    • Provide notification of medical equipment arrangements
    • Indicate if you will be traveling with oxygen
While we can't guarantee all requests will be honored, we’ll do our very best to accommodate your travel party. Download the form (PDF).

For questions or more information, contact Disney Cruise Line Special Services at:

    Phone: (407) 566-3602
    Fax: (407) 566-3760
    TTY: (407) 566-7455
    Email: SpecialServices@disneycruise.com

So I'd definitely think they can accommodate you and highly recommend you take a Disney cruise!

Thanks for the information. I have been on four Disney Cruises before I needed supplemental oxygen. They were fantastic... I really hope I can go again!!
