No. No. No. NO!!!!! BEFORE FREAKING LABOR DAY?????

As a relative matter, the 9-2-2016 party is equivalent to having a Thanksgiving event on September 26, and Christmas Party on October 27. It's good to get those out of the way, since we'll all want to celebrate New Year's on November 3!

And although DL likes to bill HMH as a Halloween-related addition, it really is just a Christmas overlay. I think that installing that over Labor Day is worse than having a Halloween party then. Both seem absurdly early, but if people are willing to pay for Halloween during summer, who am I to stop them? It will also be interesting to see how/if they enforce the "new" costume rules. So far, they've indicated that the standard rules will be in effect, which would preclude adults from wearing costumes. Given that it is a main selling feature for a lot of people (and does a lot to add to the general atmosphere of the event), I would expect softer sales and/or worse reviews than in the past

I loved being able to dress up as the Queen of hearts last year. My grandson though it was so cool that I dressed up too for the MNSSHP.
