I love most of the photos of Walt in the park. What a great sense of accomplishment it must have been for him.
A few years ago, my oldest son was at that age where he thought he was too mature and too cool to show excitement at DL or to pose with a character. That is, until she came along.......
True...The end of an era. This was six years ago. Now, he's thoroughly alright with DL and has fun again. Yet, there's just something about the excitement of little kids being totally immersed in the fantasy and joy of the happiest place on earth that is infectious.
There comes a time when kids see going to Disneyland as a punishment. Finish your homework or we've take you to Disneyland! At that point it is probably time to lay off the AP for about five years.
My youngest was the surliest teenager ever. Seriously! But he could never keep it up at Disneyland. It worked a Magic on him that I think he almost resented. He loved posing for this pic being silly on Space Mountain. And could not hold a straight face on Gadget's Go Coaster And then there was this Pocahontas.......................
