This transgender thing being the outrage-du-jour among conservatives these days, it seems only fitting the topic should find it's way here to LP's Wacky World Events Land...

Dad pulls kids out of Howell school so they don't have to share restroom with transgender classmate

Interestingly, this time the issue is flipped, given the fact that it's boys at issue rather than girls. With no particular sex issue to cloud matters (or at least one would assume not), it sort of puts the crux of the matter into clearer view.

OK, I think I might have a better understanding about which lizard brain planet the parents are coming from.

Having their sons share a restroom with a girl forces them to choose between being confused or humiliated or embarrassed. OK. Let's take them one by one:

    1) "Being confused" is supposedly because there's a student in the boy's restroom who isn't using the urinal, but only the stall? Question: don't all the boys use the stall for defecation? It's not like they only use the urinals every time they go.

    2) "Being humiliated" is supposedly because there's a student in the boy's restroom who can see their junk when they use the urinal? Question: don't all the boys see each other's junk while using the urinal? Wouldn't those situations also instill humiliation if their sons were prone to being humiliated while using the urinal in front of other people?

    3) "Being embarrassed" is supposedly because there's a biological female in the boy's restroom while they're using the facilities? Question: don't all boys face the "mom-in-the-restroom" scenario at least a few times in their lives, especially when as young boys they're dragged into the women's restroom with their mother? Why is seeing young girls and older women in that situation not troubling for these parents but their sons using the boy's restroom with a trans now is?

When will our nation finally rid itself of this puritanical garbage that shames our youth into believing that the human body is something to be humiliated and embarrassed by, especially as it pertains to members of the opposite biological sex?

I guess these kids were conceived by a hand job and turkey baster.
