My brother is on his way home from visiting Shanghai Disney and making a stop at TDR. I asked him for park guides, Tanabata Festival stuff and any popcorn bucket that he thinks looks cool. Is there any other cool merch I should request? Are there any cool music CDs or coffee table-type books like DLP From Sketch to Reality? I have seen stuff in Disney Fan magazines in the past and it seems really overwhelming as to the quality and quantity of the stuff available. I am not a big fan of Duffy though so I told him no Duffy stuff.

I found that TDR had lots of quality merchandise that was themed to specific parts of the parks and seasonal events, but very little of it appealed to me. The focus was on small things that could be given as gifts to family and friends (pencils, erasers, and other stationery was a common choice), but the designs that I saw just didn't do much for me personally

They do a great job of having CDs of the shows (including seasonal shows that may only run for a month or two), so that might be something to look in to. I had trouble finding a couple CDs that I was looking for, but they had a much bigger selection than the US parks
