I think Stewart is exactly right that she's not a great campaigner. She struggles to connect w/ people. But I also love the irony that people who complain about how fake and manufactured our politics are don't like someone who's not very good at...politics. Bill Clinton is good at it and he's just slick willy. Obama is good at it and he's just a guy who can read from a teleprompter. I do disagree w/ Stewart about the courage of her convictions. I mean, exactly what about Hillary is he unsure of? Is she going to cut Obamacare funding? Planned Parenthood funding? Food stamps? Education? Is she for or against infrastructure spending? Is she for or against gun control? The list could go on for a while, and I'm pretty sure I know where she stands on most things.

She strikes me as a pretty mainstream progressive candidate who, if elected, will be forced to work within the confines of American government. You know, like every president before her. And as a result, she'll be vilified by the same people who are pissed Obama didn't snap his fingers and magically make all the stuff they care about happen.

Well, it certainly isn't the first time during this campaign that we've seen Ol' Slick Willy's judgement is no better than when he was having fun with cigars in the Oval Office. But I didn't know that I was voting for him. I was under the impression that I was voting for Hillary. o_O o_O

Oh come on now. He's her husband! If Mrs. Cruz is fair game for being a Goldman Sachs employee, then surely Bill is fair game for being ... Bill.

He'll be living in the White House. Getting covered by the media. Doing staggeringly dumb things.

Sorry, but they're a package deal. And it IS a relevant issue in terms of how effective a POTUS she can be, especially among undecideds. It's disingenuous to pretend otherwise.

So you're just going to ignore the in-your-face conflict of interest this "popping in" represents? It's of no concern to you?

See, this is the problem. If you decide your side can do no wrong, even when they're doing it right in your face, then how do you expect to be taken seriously? This "just popped in to say hi" explanation strains all credibility, and it isn't even a defense if it's 100% true. The most charitable reading possible for this is that Bill C. still has horrendous judgment.

Don't go harassing GOPpers for being partisan patsies when you're doing the same thing.

Not at all. If he wants to collude with her, he's not doing at a public meeting on the tarmac. This is silly.

Sorry. If you seem me complaining about the GOP doing something similar, then you can call me out for thinking my side can do no wrong. This particular thing is a big nothingburger.
