2016 REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION SPEAKERS LIST ANNOUNCED Okay, I'm a news junkie and still, *most* of this list is totally unfamiliar to me. I could eighteen speakers I've even heard of, and four of them are named Trump (I've never heard of the fifth Trump (Tiffany) either)! What a snore!
You can buy Tiffany Trump's hit single "Like a Bird" on Amazon. Not a joke. (Except the "hit" part.) What little bit I've read of her indicates that she's amazingly sane and likable, especially for an heiress kid. Marla raised her. (Also: TIL LaughingPlace's new board doesn't allow links to Amazon.)
YIKES! DO NOT GET ME STARTED! I absolutely HATE these "Prosperity" Evangelical Christian con artists! These guys are completely antithetical to what Jesus was all about! Yeah, evangelicals. Hate to break it to you. But The Big Guy™ was a SOCIALIST! He deliberately walked away from his upper middle class lifestyle to be amongst the poor. And homeless. And criminals. And lepers. He embraced the very individuals you jerks shun in modern society! Pastor Burns is there to sing the praises of the billionaires! "Glory Be To The One Percent!" Makes me wanna hurl!
I'm looking forward to Chris Christie's speech. It's crucial for him, as he's still vying for the coveted Secretary of Picking Up Trump's Dry Cleaning position.
And now he's up against the insurgent candidacy of Chachi from Happy Days. The only thing that I don't like about this whole Christie humiliation saga is the fact that it isn't Cruz instead. (Not that it would be.)
I think Christie is angling for Attorney General now. Seriously. He knows damn well he has no political future in Jersey.
