I wanted to ask people's thoughts on nice hotels for as low cost as possible...will be staying for about 5 or 6 nights, weekend after the US Thanksgiving (we're from Canada). Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated!

Another good choice is Park Vue Inn next door to the BW, but I find that is usually more than the Best Western PPI. The Desert Inn and Suites is just south of Park Vue, so check the rate there as well. All of these are your typically Harbor motels - clean, close, no frills.

Park Vue Inn is nice and directly across the street on Harbor; the park vue inn is not a good neighbor hotel but i think that is simply a matter of not buying into that program than any deficiency. the Best Western Park Place Inn and suites is ok as well but we like the Park Vue better. we will be staying at the HoJo for the first time with friends as it is there preferred hotel.
