I grew up with The Dick Van Dyke Show. We owned them all on VHS and my kids watched them over and over. My grandchildren have seen most of them (on DVD). We watched an episode on Netflix in her honor.
She was able to go on and make a name for herself as something other than a 60's housewife. I loved her talent and humor. I even liked Change of Habit.
Condolences to all who knew and loved her.
RIP (You made it, after all.)

Loved her. Her show was one of the best ever, and I was especially impressed with her performance in Ordinary People in which she kinda bravely undercut her own image, being seemingly the sunny near-perfect person she projected on TV on the surface, but underneath shockingly cold and unloving.

Lovely tributes coming in from people like Dick Van Dyke, Betty White, Ed Asner, et al.
