I agree with Trump about one thing: it's kind of an artificial benchmark. Still, since FDR's first term, it has been a benchmark nonetheless. And no one hyped up how much would get done in Trump's first 100 days and how "wonderful" it would be more than Trump himself. So what do you think? Unmitigated disaster? Rousing success? Too soon to tell? Better than you thought/feared it would be? Worse? About the same?
For the most part, sadly, things have gone about how I expected. From him anyway. I have been heartened by the successful and persistent resistance to his orders.
One thing a President can't do is change bureaucracy. They will totally ignore him even if they report to him.
