His dependence on alcohol has been not-so-secret for many years, but I'm sort of surprised to hear these allegations. He always tried to play up his family in his backstories about the creations of his films, so this caught me a little off guard. But I suppose like any public figure, he has the opportunity to take advantage of his situation Hopefully he'll use this as an opportunity to get himself straightened out.
