Danai Gurira, star of The Walking Dead and notable for her role on the show as Michonne, has officially joined the cast of Marvel Studios' Black Panther. Gurira joined the rest of her Black Panther co-stars on stage during Marvel Studios' Comic-Con panel in San Diego on Saturday, including Lupita Nyong'o, Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan. Forest Whitaker has joined the cast of Marvel’s “Black Panther,” starring Chadwick Boseman. Daniel Kaluuya and Florence Kasumba have also joined the cast. The film, directed by “Creed” helmer Ryan Coogler, also stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danai Gurira. Boseman will play T’Challa, the prince of the African nation of Wakanda, who must take over the throne after his father’s murder. It looks like the movie is heading in another direction than I expected, especially with the very futuristic looking parts.
We finally saw Black Panther and I have to say, I was very surprised how good it was. In my opinion it ranks among the best Marvel movies and it got me even more excited aout Infinity War.
