I flew into Orlando Wednesday for a convention and stayed at All Star Movies three nights (thanks to my Disney trip planner) but took the closer All Stars Music bus. I was surrounded by high school cheerleaders. Thursday morning, I was up at 6:09am and in line for first Epcot bus at 6:54, 50F. 8:02 on Soarin’. 8:25 on Soarin’ again. Love it so much! Might be my favorite DCA ride. (I know I’m mixing parks.) 8:38 Living with the Land – hey, I like it. Then found out Journey into Imagination closed. 9:23 SRL for Test Track (8min wait vs. 45min posted standby). FP+ for Spaceship Earth. Mission Space Green with no wait. Tres Caballeros – really long wait for this ride – learned to not arrive at 11:05am. Decided I’m tough and used FP+ for Mission Space Orange. I am not tough! Never again, seriously. SRL for Test Track again (28min wait vs. 100min posted standby). Afternoon: Reflections of China, leisurely lunch at Nine Dragons, then Germany, Italy, Voices of Liberty, a break and the drums in Japan, followed by the Chinese acrobats. High of 73F. In FP+ line for Frozen attraction at 4:30, done 4:43pm. Was seated in the front of the boat with the lady who claims to have ridden in the most. It all went by pretty fast, but I wasn’t gonna wait in standby to do it again. The Morocco band was SO fun. I love Epcot! Watched the Canada group when I should have done the France movie. We really enjoyed Off Kilter and even got their CD, but not this group. After O Canada I had dinner at M. Paul. Yes, by myself… without a 3.5 year-old! But my tummy was a little off and the gingerbread with the duck was a little strange for me. Of course I missed the planned French movie by 4 minutes waiting for the check! I watched Illuminations and enjoyed it more than last time but still was underwhelmed. Also didn’t like being jostled by crowds while watching. Back in hotel room at 10:00pm. Friday morning, I was up at 6:30am and in line for first DAK bus at 6:56, 57F. It wasn’t that hard to get up early being used my early-riser toddler. 8:04 first Flight of Passage. Pandora is mind-blowing. Wow! 28min wait for Na’vi River felt long and I should’ve brought a snack but I saved my FP+s for my second park and I was so happy to not have to carry anything! Nice Safari ride. Not as incredible as my memories had suggested, but still wonderful. Walked both trails. SRL for EE was posted at 60min!! but I wanted to ride it. Wait ended up being 35min. Long wait alone surrounded by teens. 12:00 Waiting in line for bus to MK. 1:15 reservation at Be Our Guest. Kinda crazy lines but enjoyed the theming... from my favorite movie. FP+ for Seven Dwarves Mine Ride. Can’t wait to ride again and take in more. Max temp 77F. 14min wait for HM. Philharmagic. FP+ for Space. 9min wait for TTA – what, a wait?? 30min wait for Buzz (longest of the day). FP+ for BTMR. 20min wait for POTC and then JC. Fireworks were awesome! And I talked with a grandma for a while before, because I was using the trash can and stroller near her to keep from being jostled. Rode IASW and then decided to head to bed. 9:43 I was back in my hotel room with a muffin from the food court. The next morning I was awake at 6:37, in a taxi at 7, in lectures at 8am, saw Michael J Fox speak at 10, and saw Jeff Corbin present later that evening. He presented: an asian clawed otter, a tegu, a tamandua, an echidna, a fennec fox, a ruffed lemur, and a boa constrictor. Sunday I spent 6-10pm at Disney Springs and brought home the Tiki dress. Monday featured a Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 concert. Tuesday I did hang out at the pool some as it was 82F. I also saw Temple Grandin speak. Overall, I got 30.25 hours of Continuing Education credit!
WOW! That is quite the itinerary. Sounds like you made the most of your time. That always gives me hives.
