So, we booked Camelot Inn and Suites. I wanted to do Grand Californian but for three nights it’s just too expensive! Some day.

Plan includes staying night before to be able to get there without driving over an hour. DS will be just under 4 and gets up perky at 6am. The plan is Disneyland early entry (8am) Tuesday (ending at 6pm when Halloween Party starts); DCA Wednesday; Disneyland Thursday.

Question: if we get ADRs for Minnie and Friends on Thursday how early would be the earliest? I am guessing 10/11 DL would open at 9, early entry at 8, and dining starts at 8?

An alternative would be doing Minnie breakfast as late as possible Tuesday, and then what Thursday morning? Swimming? It sounds pretty cold at 7am.

In the past we have gotten reservations for Minnie and Friends one hour prior to Park opening. (They have a special gate for this.)

Also, we have gotten there later, near the end. We were treated to all of the characters coming out for a photo for folks still there after the doors had closed.

Of course, things change on a dime there so it is always best to call.

    Wow! Amazing photo!!!

Do you know if dining starts at the same time as early entry, or an hour earlier?

Does 9am normal entry sound right for a Thursday in October at DL?

On the Disney website it says traditionally, 8am or 9am for October. That is my favorite time of year and it doesn't get much better than spending it at Disneyland. I am truly envious! We have always been "morning people" at the park. Typically, we stay at the Paradise Pier. I love walking through DTD in the morning on our way to the park. There is an aura of energy and excitement in the air.

I do believe it is an hour before Park opening; so same time as EarlyEntry.
