Glad you enjoyed your trip! Japan is a great place to visit, but has so many little cultural peculiarities (almost all good) that it's tough to know what to expect the first time. Sounds like you guys managed to make the most of your time and see a lot of what the country has to offer. It's really unique in so many ways

And I agree with your assessment that TDS is the most beautiful Disney park, but the attraction roster is somewhat lacking. Even if you can overlook how some of the attractions don't quite live up to the hype, the park has a lot of E-tickets, a couple A/B tickets, and nothing in between to help fill those in-between times; still I think I'd rather spend a day there than just about any other Disney park, if given the choice. Did you happen to catch any entertainment while you were in the parks? I skipped it on my first visit to each park, but on a subsequent trip saw a lot of shows that really added to the experience.

We only watched the The Little Mermaid show inside King Triton's Theatre, but we didn't like it for one reason. The little mermaid is an animated movie, but the singing mermaids in the show are real life humans. That just didn't fit. As mentioned in my blog the show was cancelled half way due to technical problems.

I agree with you, I would also spend a day at DisneySea than at any other Disney park. Maybe I would throw in a day at Disneyland Park Paris.

As for Japan, it is now our favourite country to visit. We enjoyed every city and discovered so many different things. We can't wait to return, but unfortunately Japan has to wait now. This year we are travelling to China and next year we might return to the US, because next year we will celebrate our five year marrigae anniversary and our plan it to do another Disney cruise and of course we want to see Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.
