We haven't watched late night TV in a long time. I do watch selected clips on YouTube. We watch Jeopardy and Ghosts.
I do watch reruns in syndication.
When we lived in Hawaii there was no reception. We played lots of games and read books with the kids. When we did cave it was only to buy a TV and VCR.

Freedom of Speech is so important. Even Kirk thought so, right?

Ah, but (to title-drop a George Lakoff book) Whose Freedom?

When Trump talked about restoring freedom of speech, he obviously meant freedom of affluent, reactionary, racist, sexist, white men to indulge in hate-speech with no consequences.

Well, it was said with a bit of sarcasm.

I watch Colbert live most nights, and record Kimmel to watch the next morning. I did my (small) part to help Disney find their cojones by giving them a week before I cancelled my Hulu etc, and also threatened to cancel my next (as yet unplanned!) trip to DLR... along with zillions of other such letters to them, I do think it had an effect. But mine was the one that tipped the balance. I KNOW it. ;) I'm on Indivisible's mailing list (of course), and they had a helpful link right to Disney's "tell us what you like and what you don't like" form.

I'm watching Jimmy and Stephen compare stories on YouTube. :D We have to keep fighting!
Our son pays for our Disney+. I told him I wouldn't insist that he cancel but that I wouldn't hold it against him if he did.
Like you he wanted to wait a bit. We all googled how to do it so those numbers would rise.
I've already purchased my tickets for my next 3 trips but let them know I would not be spending money in the Parks. If they hadn't backed down; I was planning to even cancel my Chase Disney Rewards card and start using my BofA card.

I already decided that I had no reason to set foot in a Disney theme park this year. One of the reasons was the ticket price; another was that "Pain in the Night" was back, and was being described in glowing (no pun intended) terms. Even Light Magic (even though it was a monument to Murphy's Law; I still remember reading about the "you killed Tinkerbell" incident involving a loose pyrotechnic) was better than "Pain in the Night." ABC briefly kissing Trump's E. asinus wasn't a factor in that decision.

I am in agreement with you. But friends and grandkids keep making me go.

Costco had a great deal on tickets so I grabbed 4 before they were gone.

Hallie paid my airfare and for us to stay at The Disneyland Hotel in December. That will overlap with my daughters and a grandchild so I'll be there 5 days.
Rod and I will finally get our private Christmastime trip in November.
What with burying ourselves in debt with the new house; we will definitely be priced out.

How's everyone else doing on health care?
Everything is going up for us come 2026. But not nearly as bad as what I've heard going on with those in the private sector.
