I know around here, when there's a day that something is free, it's hardly worth waiting for. Every year on the 1st day of Spring, Rita's offers free water ice. The 1st day of spring is usually cold and raining...not water ice weather. That doesn't matter, the lines run a block or two long and I can never even find a parking place! Last year, I decided it was easier to pay for everyone to have a water ice the next day! lol
