Most Chinese resturants in Orlando are much less than that. As to dumbing the place down, well, I'd expect nothing less from Disney dining. Pretty soon, Tom Kelly will be back wreaking havoc on Orlando (he was last seen picking up a fat check for DLP 'consulting'). I'd just say if one has a complaint about Disney dining they contact Dieter Hannig, head of WDW Food and Beverage or Jens Dahlmann, the new exec head chef of EPCOT (formerly of the California Grill) and let their voices be heard. Otherwise, they will just keep on cutting the quality while raising the prices. BTW ... anyone notice how the 'free' food and wine samplings have been cut from the Food and Wine Fest this year on Mondays and Tuesdays? Yet those ridiculously priced foodie events went up in price and frequency. Magical ... yum.

You gotta love the now microscopic sized portions that aren't $1 or $2, but now average $3.50-$4 a piece. But that's just part of the business model: find something that's good ... that sells ... market it to death ... and lower the quality while increasing the prices every year. <<Add it to AP hotel discounts, Character Meals, DDE, DDP, FP, Dining Reservations, Winnie the Pooh, Trading Pins, after hour events, Killing the magic tours, Pirates, the use of the quote "Slave in the Magic Mirror..." in entertainment offerings, and the "annual Celebrations Celebrating our current Magical Dreams derived from the creations that old Disney business practices allowed to be Magically created so that we may now Celebrate in a Magical Dream-like DisneyPark." You chose to read something into a tongue in cheek comment that wasn't what was intended. I don't want to get into a prolonged argument with you (so I won't ask what's been happening with the economy while I was in China and California and if you still feel I was overstating the disaster that is the US economy) so I'll just say I don't feel that most people here INCLUDING YOU are idiots at all. I wouldn't waste my time if I felt that way. I do feel that some people are quick to jump to emotional conclusions! Now ... why don't we talk about your next WDW trip ... February, right?

But for some reason I see them staying at WDW for a long, long time.
