If something heavy lands on your noodle, or you're hit by a fast flying object like a baseball, and you have questionable symptoms like nausea, dizziness, or blurred/double vision, it needs to be checked out. CAT scans are fast and relatively inexpensive these days; they can locate even the smallest of cerebral blood leakage before it's too late. (Mays probably attributed the "not feeling well" to exhaustion from traveling or coming down with a bug.) I predict this will be the determined cause of death in the coroner's report. The sad thing is, his death was most likely preventable.
