    Disneyland! Yaaayy!

Does anyone know if DL sanitizes the ride vehicles everyday? Or are they treated with some sort of bioplastic that kills germs on contact?

Sorry, but I think it is disingenous of the newspaper reporter to automatically assume it was contracted at Disneyland.

Did they beam over from home using Star Trek technology? Did they not fly or stay at a hotel or eat at restaurants? Did they use public transportation or visit other tourist sites?

I think this is *not* responsible reporting. Just my humble opinion.

I'm useless when it comes to the law, but if I were in the top tier of the Disney empire, I'd be having my legal team look at this stuff....talk about libelous.

I think what he meant was that since the boys had probably already contracted the virus before going to DL that they could have spread it to thousands of people in the park.

But why is it hard to believe that someone could get swined at DL? I see sick people all the time there. Inconsiderate sick people I might add. It's like come on people cover your mouth!! Also CA is now the 3rd state with the most cases of H1N1 then any other state.

and its ok Love I didn't take it personally hahah :)

Yes, well welcome to Australian media.
I was watching the news the other night when Disneyland appeared all over the screen.. it was the same story. It really is like they've placed all the blame on Disneyland.. I was wondering how long it would take for it to pop up on here.

Of all the places in Aus it would show up, I can't believe it's been a primary (elementary) school! It's now been passed on to someone else as well..

Still not enough to put me off my upcomming Disney trip.

CA is the most populous state in the nation, yet we're only 3rd? (Heck, CA has more people than Canada and most countries) Percentage wise, we're probably way down there.
Talk about massaging the numbers. You can mess with numbers to your advantage...

I mean, not that I like to or anything, but if my PCP refers me, doesn't that entitle me to the scrutiny tour? He didn't see maybe 25% of me. I'm thinking of writing them both a very polite letter, letting them know of my growing dismay.

It kind of relieved me on Monday, I mean he even had a male nurse and who enjoys just laying it all out there and everything, but...I don't know. I just have that vague uneasiness and I'd rather just know for sure.

    You know?

Okay, back to our regularly scheduled thread. (We really should stop meeting like this. :)

    So what's the topic again?

Well, I'm sure besides the county inspections of restaurents that the comnpany would have an interest in keeping things clean.

And the best defence against illness is still keeping your hands clean and away from your face, and staying away from people who are obviously sick.
