DAK's EE Yeti - still broken?

I thought that the hydraulic operated motion of the Yeti was affecting the structural integrity of the mountain itself. If that is in fact the case, it would take some major-league reinforcing to make this Yeti fully operational again. Big time design flaw.

    In the meantime however, I notice they've done a better job with the strobe and other lighting effects in the last year.

There a 3 totally seperate structures inside of everest and they do not touch each other. They learned their lesson with the Matterhorn. Unfortunately to repair the yeti's platform, they have to actually remove a section of the track to get the yeti out. Thus it will be a while.

    And they would need to close the mountain for a bit to begin fixing it, I think. Can't loose capacity...

    Probably the same guy in a cube who helped with the Mark VII.

    It was intentionally disabled by then. You got to see Disco.

    Thanks for the information! Since I didn't know what to expect, I had a lot of fun riding EE.

    That would fit with my memory that I saw the real yeti in January 2007 (am absolutely sure about that trip) and January 2008 and complained about Disco Yeti in 2009 in an exit survey at DAK...
